If you come to New Albany/Louisville, you must see the Ohio River. Whether you like boating, cruises, skiing, jet skiing, fishing or just walking by the water, the river is beautiful. Don't miss it! The water's a little murky for diving but there are quarries in the area too!
The river has been cleaned up alot since I was young. The company even sponsors a 'River Sweep' where volunteers walk the banks and pick up trash thrown by inconsiderate people!

This place is the poop! Sooooooo..... relaxing....... so laid back! We where there when nobody else...more
We were driving around New Albany, killing time before seeing "The King and I" on the Riverfront Stage, and decided we should get something to eat. We passed a lot of bar-type establishments before finding this place, which looked adorable. We wanted to eat outside, but they were doing a brisk business ( a good sign!) and had no tables outside. We ate inside and it was fine.
Waitress was very nice and prompt with drinks. Food is inexpensive and tasty. I would recommend this as a dining option if you are visiting New Albany, IN.
Favorite Dish: I had the Spinach Salad, with fresh bacon and a vinaigrette dressing - yummy! My boyfriend had the Mediterranean Shrimp Pasta, which he enjoyed very much and had trouble finishing, since the plate was so large.
A small, locally owned, semi fast food restaurant. The ambience is simple. The workers are friendly, and your food is always nicely prepared, hot, and fresh. The seafood there is never frozen and is handbreaded daily for freshness. The best part, is that you get plenty on your plate for a not so bad of a price.
Favorite Dish: Box for two with onion rings. It generally comes with fries. You can substitute or half it. The onion rings are breaded daily like the fish. And generally this box could feed 3people. They give you about 4 big pieces of fish and piled high on the onion rings/fries, two hush "dogs" that are also hand made there in the restaurant.

It's more than just a casino. There's live music, shopping, and an all you can eat buffet to die for. If you're interested in gambling, it's the largest casino riverboat in the USA and there are many winners. However, you don't have to gamble to enjoy Ceasar's. The pavilion provides shopping, club entertainment, and a restaurant to keep you busy. Best of all, there's free valet parking.
Dress Code: Casual to dress. Would not recommend your worn out work clothes. It's people friendly and it's location gives you comfortable setting opposed to stuffy. Depending upon the event taking place. So, nice jeans with a dress blouse is acceptable. Yes, even sneakers, as long as they're clean and presentable.:>)
I teach a tai chi (taijiquan) class here. Great for relaxation and health! I highly recommend you try it. In this picture the class was warming up before the form practice. I'm the one with the yellow ball in hand.
There are BIG barges that nagigate this river so BE CAREFUL! Also, the river police will give you a ticket/arrest for BUI (boating under the influence)! Besides, you might kill yurself or someone else.
