    I found the campus peaceful. The church reminded me of what made my visit to European cathedrals so inspiring. The intentional design of the space, the roof line, pulling your eyes skyward towards heaven. The simplistic to complex imagery the open new thought about my relationship to God.

    Run by the ArchAbbey, the gift shop is a full-line religious bookstore. Included are title from the Abbey Press

    (Saint Meinrad Archabbey owns and operates Abbey Press, which got its start in 1867. Although originally used for in-house printing needs, the press was soon being used for the printing needs of the outside community.

    What to buy: There are all kinds of items available. Many for special religious occasions and others for every day life (with a spiritual interest). Books offer insight into God's expectations, your own soul and the routine activities and process to make a success of any religious call you feel.
