Nashville
Nashville is an historic artists' colony located among the hills of Brown County. It was founded in 1907 when Hoosier Group artist, T.C. Steele, purchased 200 acres (81 hectares) in order to establish a home and art studio.Nowadays, Nashville has over 300 unique craft shops and art galleries. Visitors enjoy strolling the streets, browsing in the many shops, and possibly purchasing arts and crafts, or works of art.Nashville is also known for its entertainment options, which include the Little Nashville Opry, the Country Time Music Hall, the Red Barn Jamboree, the Bean Blossom Jamboree, Mike's Music and Dance Barn, the Pine Box Theatre, the Nashville Follies, the Brown County Playhouse, the Melchior Marionettes, and the Old Time Flea Market.
