Nashville

by traveldave

Nashville is a historic artists' colony located among the hills of Brown County. It was founded in 1907 when Hoosier Group artist, T.C. Steele, purchased 200 acres (81 hectares) in order to establish a home and art studio.Nowadays, Nashville has a thriving tourism industry, attracting people to its specialty shops, antique stores, art galleries, restaurants, entertainment venues, inns, rental cottages, bed-and-breakfast homes, and numerous outdoor recreational activities. The town has over 300 unique craft shops and art galleries. Visitors enjoy strolling the streets, browsing in the many shops, watching artists at work in galleries or craft studios, and possibly purchasing arts and crafts, or works of art. No Stores around Notre Dame area!!!

by Astrobuck

If you plan to stay around the I-80 area of the campus of University of Notre Dame, be aware that there are no stores. The closest store in fact is in Michigan! The good news is, Michigan is only about 5 to 10 miles from campus. Keep driving up the main road, cross the Michigan line, Wal-Mart will be on your right about 3-5 miles. This actually happened to me about 4 or 5 years ago. I needed some toothpaste, so I got in my truck, drove down the road, acidentally drove into Michigan, and found Wal-Mart.Go Figure.....!

Various: Circle Centre Mall

by pabertra

This mall is located in downtown Indy in the heart of the city. The mall is huge and 4 stories tall with tons of modern stores. There are many department stores, but also stores you may not have in your own city. It is a very neat mall just to take a walk through if nothing else. Their is a completely glass enclosed ArtsGarden where you can sit and relax after a long day of shopping. Some of the great shopping includes:AldoBanana RepublicGapForever 21ExpressAbercrombie & FitchFranklin CoveyParisianNordstrom& many more stores
