Inland Aquatics is a really cool fish hatchery, last I knew the world's largest indoor. The fish are beautiful and the emplyees will give you a tour for --low cost. Clabber Girl museum is neat, too. As of 2004 they added on quite a bit and have some old Hulman memorabilia (Hulman also owns the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for racing fans) they are adding kids areas and the bake shop has food.

Go see the campus of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. It is a great campus, with alot of trees and really is just a nice place to walk around. Head out on Wabash Ave/US 40 east of town and you can't miss it.

Fairbanks Park. It's on 1st street, right along the Wabash River. It's a beautiful park and is great to take a walk in on a crisp fall day. Not very large or alot to do, but nice to look at anyway. There's also an interesting structure there that I have no idea what it is.. (pictured)
Shakamak State Park
Located in west central Indiana, Shakamak is a reservoir that has been turned into an oasis. To the east is rolling farm land. Bloomington is just 20 miles away. To the southwest, lies the coal fields of Indiana. Huge strip mines have recontoured the land. FOrest have disappeared and begun to return. But here at Shakamak it is quiet and peaceful. Birds chirp, fish bit, and campfires keep everyone warm on cold nights.
Directions: Take US 41 south from Terra Haute to Shellburn (apprx 11 miles - 17.6 km). Turn east (left) on Indiana 48. It's about 6 miles (9.6 km) to the park. The entrance is around the 1st big bend (90 degrees to the right - south).
