You're in West Lafayette, INDIANA... how many people have heard of this place? But you're here, and there's good Japanese food... interesting, isn't it? Small little restaurant, mainly Japanese customers, but very neat, and not too expensive.

La Bamba's - Burritos As Big As Your Head
You gotta wonder what they put in these things... the burritos are huge, and taste oh-so-good, but I'm skeptical about the quality of the meat. ;) Anyway, put the special sauce on it... mmmm, but be wary of after-effects. Another national chain... we've got one here in Louisville too... this place is open until 'after the bars close' as they advertise.

Little place with wooden booths, not usually too busy. They seem to mainly deliver their food to kids on campus.

Well, it's a chain Ben & Jerry's of course, like I've seen in other outstanding places such as Boulder and Fort Collins, CO. But the ice cream is still really good, but they're only open when the weather is warm enough, which really isn't for very many months in Central Indiana.

Well, before 9pm you can eat here if you're under 21. At 9pm they'll kick you out, since this is essentially a sports bar that gets very crowded later on. The walls are adorned with all kinds of automotive paraphenelia... old license plates, old gas pumps, hub caps, etc. Nice theme. They do have a pool table in the back that gets covered up on the weekends (so beer isn't spilled on it would be my guess).

Cheap pizzas, cheap food for the most part. Nearly a hole-in-the-wall pizza place, that surprisingly has some seating. Generally students just get it delivered to their dorms or pick it up and bring back to their apartments.
