Good food, good service, FANTASTIC desserts:) Take some friends, have a few drinks, and then split a cookie monster (a huge, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookie covered in ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate, and cherries...yummmmm)

Really fun Texas style restaurant (i.e., really big portions and lots of noise). They have the most amazing free cinnamon bread! And it's right next to a movie theater, so you can do dinner and a movie--good times:)

This place has the hands down best bar-b-que in the Quad Cities. Hickory smoked beef, pork and chicken are the main items on the menu but they offer other dishes along with a special of the day for those who want to be adventurous.

This attraction combines Las Vegas style gambling with our Mississippi River Boats. Although the Isle of Capri only crusies once a day durring the summer months You are still on the river when you board her any time of the day.

Favorite thing: Visit the River. Bettendorf is only one of several communities that make up the Quad Cities and all offer wonderful parks in which you can view or stroll along the Mighty Mississippi.
Fondest memory: Living for twenty+ years in a town of friendly, caring midwesterners.
