Take a tour of the plant and see how kosher animals are slaughtered. Cows, chickens and turkeys can be seen. The process, from getting in the live animals, to seeing them package the meats are all shown. One of the coolest parts was to see hto dogs being made.
The tour is not for anyone who cannot stand the sight of blood -- though there is not that much, you may see the actual slaughter. I did and I thought the process was very interesting.
Sit down and eat lunch or dinner at Jacob's Table. A quaint restuarant right in the middle of a quaint town. The chicken and meat all come from the local meat packing plant, making this really a local restaurant.
Food was excellent -- I ate at the buffet and they had a lot of ethnic Jewish food. Everything was delicious.
