When I left Miami it was a wonderfully pleasant 75 F and today i tried to go to Sioux City for Lunch and the temperature now is around 7 degrees F ie minus 12 degrees C. it is windy and the snow is blowing. so check the weather before you come to these parts. the photo attached was taken at 1 pm on the way to sioux city. we decided not to go to sioux city but stopped and had a lovely lunch at the Thai Kitchen in South Sioux City

Do not be alarmed by the odor you may encounter if you enter Sioux City from the South on I-29. Our fair city is home to several packing plants such as John Morrell and IBP. While these are big employers in our area and bring diversity to the city, they certainly do not smell good. Please note that the odor is confined to this area of town. I only smell it if I am travelling past the plant on the interstate. This lovely aroma is the reason this town is often called Sewer City, but don't let it put you off!
