SUMMER 2008:
This 62 acre park has been recently redone and what an improvement!!
I played at the playground with my 6-year-old grand-niece recently and I had as much fun as she did! There are elevated walkways (with side rails) and many slides, ladders, and other means of exiting. There are also numerous swings and other activities to keep children entertained for hours!
The park also has:
an enclosed air-conditioned shelter which can be rented for events.
outdoor picnic areas - some with covers and some without.
an aquatic center with pool, etc at the far E area.

The Clay County Fair is held every Sept for a week. There are livestock exhibits and shows, home and garden exhibits and shows, commercial exhibits, rodeos, free music and family entertainment and concerts. There are farm machinery exhibits, a carnival, a big model train collection and much more. There is camping available. There is something for everyone.

This is one of the few non-fast food/ large chain restaurants that we saw and we were looking for healthy food.
The decor is great and the staff is friendly.
We were very satisfied with our meal and would definitley eat here again.
