Adjacent to the Milford Nature Center is the State of Kansas Fish Hatchery. Even if you are not interested in fishing it is an interesting place.

Inside the visitor center is a small museum with wild life exhibits. Talk to the people in the center if you have any questions. The man who spoke with me was very friendly.
This building is at the top of the dam for Milford lake. It is across from the parking for looking out off the top of the dam. You can get information in this building about activities at the lake.
Milford Lake was built by the Corps of Engineers. It is the largest lake in Kansas. This is the view from top of the dam about 4 miles northwest of Junction City.
Kansas Vietnam Veterans Memorial is in Heritage Park. It has the names of men from Kansas killed during that war inscribed on it.
