The choice of restaurants is limited. There is a Burger King on Custer Hill. On the Main Post, one can eat at the Irwin Army Community Hospital cafeteria. There are vending machines throughout the post.

Loooooong lines during lunch, breakfast and dinner. No sales tax though because it is a federal base.

There was all kinds of great food at the Fort Riley open house. Many of the food booths were run by different companies of soldiers.
