polrbear Says:  La Casita's prices are amazingly low for the quality of the Mexican food. The Alexander special with refried beans. It's kind of like a tostada, but bigger and with spicy meat. The refried beans are the best I've ever had.

The Cozy Inn: The Cozy Inn

They only run movies from Thursday night until Sunday night, but the movies are a great selection of foreign films, sleeper films, and independent films. The theater is fairly small, but the seating is comfortable and it has digital surround sound.

Favorite thing: Remember this one piece of trivia - if the Space Shuttle had to land in the middle of the US, Salina could handle it. The airport's runway is one of very few that are long enough for the Shuttle to land on.
