If you're traveling on I-70 in western Kansas, stop by the villages of Collyer or Park or any of the other spots that have a dominating cathedral overlooking town. It only takes minutes out of your drive, and gives you something to photograph and discuss while you're stretching your legs.

Stopping off in Victoria to see the Cathedral of the Plains? Nearby Walker also has a fine Victorian stone church. It's just 4 miles to the east of Victoria, on Old US 40.
