Airoplanes, Wichita

Previously used as an administration building on the McConnell Air Force Base, the former municipal airport terminal was acquired by the City of Wichita on behalf of the Wichita Aeronautical Historical Association in the late 1980s and opened to the public in 1991. If you happen that your airplane must land quickly in the middle of nowhere - I would reccommend Wichita Kansas. It is a small city that is centered between almost anywhere you would want to go in the USA.
Wichita is known for it's people. The main thing anyone around here wants to do is raise a good family, make enough money to retire and still have a blast along the way. We ballroom dance one night and two-step to Country Western the next. It is probably the flatest place in the world but I can guarantee fantastic sunrises and sunsets like you won't see anywhere else in the world. Oh yeah, we have more deer to kill than anyone else.
