El Mazatlan: Delicious Mexican Food
It's hard to expect great food in a little town, but once again, the reviews on line all pointed here. El Mazatlan is a little Mexican restaurant tucked in behind a gas station. On the inside, the room is bright and festive. The servers are very attentive, and had drinks and chips/salsa for us very quickly. The menu here is enormous, and there are many great sounding items to choose from. I went with the "Allan Special" - an enormous tortilla with chicken, onions, and peppers, covered in a delicious cheese sauce.
The child's menu is pretty diverse, so we didn't have any issues with the kids being able to find something they'd like.
All in all, a great meal. If you're in town, this is the place to go. If we had stayed a second night, I'm sure we would have made our way back here!
Joe's Diner: Joe's Diner Rocks
Great old fashioned hamburger style joint.
Has mini golf for kids as well as air hockey and pool table.
It is right outside the gate to Jellystone so was an eay walk from the campsite, and offered a great atmosphere for family fun.
Favorite Dish: All of it.
Joe's Diner: Eat at Joe's
This is a typical diner with greasy fries, greasy hamburgers, greasy chili...that's what makes it great! The menu and atmosphere are vintage 50's style diner complete with dining car. The food is pretty good but don't forget the antiacids!
Favorite Dish: Hamburger, fries and a chocolate shake
