During the summer weekends there is always some big event that attracts scores of people.If you need lodging for the weekend make reservations in advance because there is often a shortage of available rooms during these events.

If you decide to take a trip to the Florence Mall, you might scratch your head when you see the big, red and white striped water tower by the mall. It should say: FLORENCE MALL, instead you'll actually find a little humor from the so called 'REDNECKS'. Look real closely, it reads in BIG letters: FLORENCE Y'ALL!
Isn't that great?!
I don't know how many times I had to explain to visitors from other countries what the meaning behind that phrase is. I think it gives Florence a nice little touch. After all, next to Covington, FT.Mitchell and Erlanger, we are pretty much the gateway to the beautiful 'Bluegrass State'.
