Favorite thing: Harlan is very mountainous. There are many trails a person could hike or ride on. Little Shepards trail leads to the Appalachian trail, which starts in North Carolina and ends in New York.
Fondest memory: I love going to Martin's Fork Lake and jumping from the Bridge.

Fondest memory: It makes me sad when they build a highway to bypass a town and then they make it difficult to get into the town. With all the franchise outlets lining the highway I thought for a second that I was in NJ! Luckly, we were able to meet some of the local people as we were assigned to refurbish a house right in town.
