Gee, what should one do when they visit a place called Mammoth Cave... hmmm I'd say GO INTO THE CAVE!!! There are guided tours every day, and if you like spelunking, you can take trips of varying difficulty to places in the cave that few people go. It really is worth a trip.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring your hiking boots, sweater or jacket and long pants. No matter how hot it is outside it is always cold in the caves. I would advise on not wearing your favorite shoes, shirt and pants. You will get dirty in the caves. In some caves you rub aginst the walls.
