If you need quick internet access then head over to the brand new library. My mom still has dial-up (gasp) so I came here to do some school work. Very nice, big, friendly staff, and there was a nice play area for kids.

When I was young this place was just two small hills, green grass, and a dirt trail to walk on. But Old Mill Park has really become a beautiful little park over the years! They have built a gazebo between the two small hills and have placed grills and picnic tables in the area. They also black-topped the original walking trail and created another. Flowers and trees line the trails.
Very nice place for a walk or picnic!

A lady donated her land to create this park. I didn't even know it was called Treadway Park, I always called it the Veterens Park. When you see it you'll know why...it has a big army tank and the flags of all the armed services.

When I was a kid the swinging bridge was really a big deal. It was scary, but in a fun way. I can remember how it was such a big deal to be standing out in the middle of it.
It hasn't changed a bit.
