We walked over to the store.
They had a fish sculpture outside painted in flames swallowing a hot pepper bait. His name was Ta Bass Co. Apparently the local sculpture here is a fish (like the pandas in DC).
I picked up a catalog so I could order stuff and not have to carry it. My daughter and her husband have decorated their kitchen in TX with a hot pepper theme. I have ordered things from their catalog which is also on-line
What to buy: If you REALLY like TABASCO®(and use a lot of it), you can get it in a gallon Jug for $38.95. Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce has a shelf life of 5 years (opened or unopened) when stored in a cool place, but it’s best if used by the third year.
This is one of their best sellers, but they also have
• TABASCO® Minatures
• TABASCO® brand SWEET & Spicy Pepper Sauce
• TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce
• TABASCO 7 Spice Chili Recipe®
• TABASCO® 6 Sauce Caddy Set
Or you can go smaller and get a gift bag of two small bottles for $12.95
TABASCO® Small Gift Box
• TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce
• TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce
• TABASCO® Spicy Chocolate
You can also get a TABASCO® pot holder ($6.25), coffee mugs, letter opener, golf shirts, a beach bag, boxer shorts, an inflatable bottle, a string of Chili Pepper lights ($14.95), or a neon sign ($395.00)
From shirts, to ties, aprons, sauces, magnets, to cookbooks, souvenirs; anything and everything with the Tabasco logo on it. Be sure to take the time to shop and bring a gift home to your friends!
What to buy: I would suggest you buy a cookbook and some sauces for your trip home. You will get a sample bottle, which is cute.
What to pay: The prices are reasonable.
