Ponchartrain Vineyards is available for tastings, weddings, parties, and is well known for its Jazz in the Vines during the summer months.

I attended the vineyards during the week for a lonely testing with me and the vendor. He was very nice and very full of information. We tasted about 10 different wines, mostly red. It was $7.00 then I bought a bottle of white wine for about $20.00. While I was there a man came in buying cases of wine for a party. So the place has a definite following.

The most popular thing to do here would be the Jazz in the Vines that draws crowds to the patio area where people come as far as New Orleans to drink great wine and listen to jazz music during cool summer nights.

Wed. - Sun. 12:00 to 4:00 pm

Everything in the area is off the beaten path, I like the canoeing and Joyce's for the home made hamburger.

Favorite thing: The area around Bush/Sun/Talisheek is great for canoeing and hiking. There are some camping spots, a few gas stations, and a lot of country lanes.
