    Nightlife in Deville appears to consist of entertaining at home or making the rounds of your friends' and relatives' homes. This is definitely not as dull as it may seem. Everyone I met was extremely outgoing and congenial, lots of partiers. There's always some sort of family gathering featuring outdoor cooking like a pig roast or a spur-of-the-moment crawfish boil. It's a fun place!

    This is not to say that there aren't places to go outside Deville, such as Alexandria or Pineville or the casino in Marksville, but I address that on separate pages here on VT. Here's a picture of my family around a fire they built in the backyard. As the night wore on, it turned into quite a lot of fun!

    There are lots of different party spots to choose from. Many are, you guessed it, at the Swamp! Camps are everywhere. Just pull up and they'll serve you. Especially if youre not too bad looking. There's almost always a hog roast, crawfish boil, fish fry, or even barbecue. Lots to drink too. Definitely lots to drink. Great way to meet your lifetime mate.
