Great music and live bands.
Waitresses walk around the place carrying about 50 testing tubes filled with alchole. Pay $3, and she will help you drink it up.
Be sure to bring bead necklesses with you. Don't just buy 10 or 20. Buy them by a case! Go up stairs and throw beads from balcony. If you want to look like a pro, buy big ones!! I saw that bigger worked better.
Dress Code: Very casual.
Not to be confused with the touristy 'Bourbon Street Blues Company' establishment several addresses up Bourbon Street, this venue does a dependable job of showcasing local talent, mostly blues and R&B. Marva Wright frequently performs here.
Dress Code: casual to dressy, it's all good
Without a doubt, this is one of the more popular bars on Bourbon St. It features two levels of dancing and drinking delight. R&B, rap, techno, and general club music are what you will find here, contradicting its namesake. Good drink sizes, and never any cover. Not that I promote underage drinking, but this place is notorious for its lax security.
Dress Code: Anything Goes!
