This is a warm, bustling cafe with a colorful mural on one wall (I'm a sucker for murals). It's open late for dinner, which is how -- as fortune would have it -- we ended up there. They serve lunch and dinner daily.
Favorite Dish: I had the chicken shwarma: marinated chicken kebobs – conveniently taken off the stick – salad, pita bread warm from the oven, and the best hummus I’ve ever tasted: creamy and delicious. The other two people in my party had the mixed kebobs, beef and lamb, which they said was good, and one of them opted for basmati rice instead of salad.
If you're feeling adventurous, try the Lebanese ice tea, which is. . . interesting. It’s sweet and lemony and contains rosewater, so it’s like drinking perfume. Odd but addictive. They also float pine nuts on top of the tea.

The Carrollton area is full of restaurants so I'll put a few of my favorites. I eat weekly at Lebanese Cafe. The prices are reasonable and the grilled chicken with tabullie, hummas, and pita bread is excellent.
