Mike Anderson's Seafood: You have to try the crawfishes here!

We asked the locals where would they go for authentic New Orleans Food on Bourbon Street. They recommended this restaurant. A group of us went there for dinner the first night there and we were very pleased.

I was hesitant about trying the crawfish but it was so good. Unfortunately, we only ordered one bag. The other food we had there was pretty good as well. I wanted to go back a second time but my friends would not spend that much a second time. We opted to explore other restaurants there.

    All restaurants in the French...

    by Paladin857 Written Aug 24, 2002

All restaurants in the French Quarter are great. Some of my favorites were: Mike Andersons, The Palace Cafe, The well known K-Pauls and Emeril's

Favorite Dish: In General - Po Boys (particularly Soft Shell crab, Oyster), Raw Oysters in Season, The quitessential Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo and Crawfish Etouffe.
Mike Anderson's - Come for the 7 ways crawfish platter (well worth the wait)
The Palace Cafe - The most awesome white chocolate bread pudding with Rum Sauce.
    K-Pauls - Food Changes daily.
Emerils - Can't remember due to an earlier visit to Pat O'Brien's, but it sure was great.
