This is a very casual food place featuring jumbo breakfasts, with grits, eggs, homemade hash browns and offers short and tall stacks of silver-dollar pancakes, fluffy biscuits, sizzling sausages, and corned beef hash.
The Trolley Stop menu also offers typical diner fare, including burgers, hot plate specials, soups, salads and sandwichs. Also ask about the seafood platters, and Louisiana Gulf crab cakes.

Favorite Dish:
I ordered the ham and cheese omelette which is folded over twice and dotted with minced grilled ham and plenty of cheddar cheese. The biscuits are very large, fluffy and the country gravy that comes as a side order.
My daughter likes the small silver-dollar pancakes with lots of syrup.
Popular among locals this diner/breakfast restaurant/burger joint/omelet station which doesn't really fall into any category boasts a rather eclectic menu. Located just into uptown NOLA on St Charles, this eatery's well-priced menu, relaxed, casual atmosphere and fast, local service should be included in anyone's eating itinerary.
The food is served in an unpretentious fashion and the portions will satiate any appetite.
Favorite Dish:
I always get the seafood omelet.
