The Natchez paddle boat cruise is wonderful! Two hours of steaming up the Mississippi River on an authentic boat from the 1800's. This boat is one of just a few original paddleboats on the Mississippi, and will take you on a wonderful tour of the river. You'll see wildlife in their native habitat, and you can see the wonderful Jackson Square of New Orleans from the third level of the boat. the boat has a buffet set up (wonderful creole food) and a bar. This is optional, and an additional cost. The tour costs $43.00 per person and is worth every penny! This cruise is four hours in duration.

US-90 curruntly connects Laffayette to New Orleans through some of the scenic and cultural gems of South Louisiana. The highway is being upgraded to interstate standards and will eventually be designated I-49.
Currently, I-49 connects Shreveport to Lafayette (via Natchitoches, Alexandria, & Opelousas).
There are also future plans to extend I-49 north from Shreveport by upgrading US-71 all the way to Kansas City, Missouri (via Texarkana, Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, & Joplin) Leave a Comment Theme: Car/Motor Home
