L. L. Bean is a famous catalog store that is noted for the quality of its products and a great warranty. This is the headquaters of the catalog and online store. If you buy something and you have any problem with it, they will replace it. I had a travel bag fail after 6 months of being banged around in the belly of many airplanes. I brought it back and they replaced it without a question. When they noticed it was monogramed, they sent the new bag out to be monogramed. That is service!
While you are at Bean's, check out their outlet store. There are plenty of end of season bargains here.
The store actuall consists of 4 stores, boats and bikes, the main store, the camping store and the outlet.
What to buy: Clothes, camping gear, luggage, fishing gear, bikes, skis, kayaks, and many more things are sold here.
What to pay: Prices are reasonable and there are often sales for good stuff at low prices.
