    Newly donated residence houses artifacts of Pattens' history. Worth a look. Opportunity to pick up brochures on local places of interest as well as a chance to yak with some of the nice folks of P-Town.

    Lumbermens' Museum

    Patten is home to this wonderful collection of over 4000 historical lumbering artifacts, objects, and documents.
    The museum is open seasonally and has many fine examples of the areas proud heritage housed in nine buildings, including an authentic logging camp on site. Cool.

    Under 6: Free
    A Bean Hole Bean supper is held the second Saturday in August every year.
    (August 9th 2003 starting at 11am.)
    The menu includes:
    -Best beans you've ever had.
    -Reflector oven biscuits made on site.
    -Boiled red hot dogs
    -Homemade gingerbread, molasses cookies
    -Campfire boiled coffee

    Supper prices-(03-06-03)
    Adults: $5.00
    Kids: $2.50
    Paul Bunyan: Free

    The annual event affords an opportunity to view and buy traditional crafts as well as mix with the friendly folks of P-Town.
