    Street and Company: Amazing seafood

Great food and extremely fresh (after all, it's in Portland, right?) One of my top 5 choices in Portland fro a great romantic diner or just a good time with friends (or if you want great seafood and you don't feel like cooking!)

Favorite Dish: The pan seared scallops with a light creamy sauce (be aware: they are gigantic!) They bring you the hole pan to the table, which is very fun and makes you feel at home (even if you don't eat from the pan in your house!)

This is a great seafood restaurant! The menu is small but delicious. The specials are alway creative and amazing!! The ambience is rustic, casual, fine dining. The servers wearing blue jeans, white button down shirts and long white aprons, are all very knowledgeable of the menu. The one draw back of Street and Company is that the tables are a bit close together and when it's busy it can feel a bit tight. But the food and service are worth it!! Make a reservation if you are planning a dinner here though, it is a very popular place to go!

Favorite Dish: Try the Scallops in pernod. It is amazing!!

Street and Company: Great food, could use better servers

I really loved this restaurant, as did my boyfriend, The Chef. The decor was nice, hammered copper, lots of wood, candles, and a neat open kitchen. The raw bar was busy, with guys shucking oysters that would soon be at our table. The menu is small, but appealing, and the food was great. I didn't, however, care for our server. Each time we spoke to her it was as though we were bothering her; she acted very informal for an upscale restaurant, leaning on our table to talk to us. She seemed to really want us to hurry and finish, and although it was a slow Sunday night, our dirty appetizer dishes sat on the table as we ate our main course. This being said, I would still go back in a heartbeat. Our shaved fennel salad was yummy and the fresh fish was incredible. Great wine list, have some sparkling wine and oysters!

2 reccomended restaurants...depending on your mood:

Street and co is nice for a sit down candle light meal with great service. The Lobster shack is a small restaurant on the ocean where you can have a casual meal and watch the waves crash.

Favorite Dish: Street and co: Nice seafood combinations, gourmet style -Lobster shack is boiled lobsters and a good seafood fry plate.

This is a nice restaurant. The atmosphere is very homey in an older style building, the walls are all brick and floors are wooden. It has tables in a warren of hallways. This restaraunt is expensive.. but it is also a very good quality restaurant.

Favorite Dish: The food here is spectacular. The menu is extremely diverse taking food from all over the globe though it has plenty of seafood dishes. This is Portland afterall. My favorite was the New Zealand prawns.
