    This week June 2- 7 2003 there is major construction going on on Route 302. There are long delays. If possible travel route 26 to the east or along the west coast of Sebago Lake for this week It promises to be a frustrating driving week on route 302. Then Windham will be following all summer along 302

    This particular quilt was made by a local lady's mother in 1907 for her husband to be. Notice how perfect the hand embroidery on the seams is. You may find this sort of hand craft in many antique stores and local fairs a nd festivals

    This house was originally an eatery called The House that Jack built . My husband remembers going there as a major outing during a boyscout canoe trip culminating in a walk from the landing to this yesteryear restaurant.

    This little promentary juts out from the picnic area at Panther run official state run picnic area. It is a popular spot for fishing . Fishing liscences are available at the IGA in Raymond on route 302 about a half mile from this peaceful spot which is visable from the highway but unbelievably quiet and serene
