    Headquartered in Arlington, VA, Red Hot and Blue has franchised locations across much of the country, centered mainly in the Mid-West and the Mid-Atlantic states. I have eaten at a few locations, notably the Arlington (Rossyn), VA branch and Annapolis.

    The BBQ is definitely excellent here, as it should be. I had ribs and brisket that were falling off the bone. Unfortunately I ordered "wet" ribs, smothered in BBQ sauce, and I got "dry" ribs that are rubbed with spices. They were fine, just not what I wanted. A little of the St. Louis BBQ sauce from the table and I was happy.

    We had Sunday Brunch at Buddy's on Main Street in Annapolis. They had a decent variety, but certainly not one of the best Sunday Brunches in recent memory.

    The best part of our visit was the view of the Inner Harbor from their second floor windows.

    When my sister and my mom and I stayed at this hotel, we had breakfast on the harbor. I don't think it was Pusser's but I can't find the name of the other restaurant.

Come as you are to Jimmy Cantler's Riverside Inn and discover Annapolis as you never have before. Cantler's Riverside Inn, where the watermen gather for fresh seafood and steamed Maryland blue crabs 7 days a week, all year 'round.

    The crabs and sitting out on the dock looking at the river with a mallet and just going to town with it. Add a pitcher of beer and a bib, and you're in heaven if you love seafood.

    Chick & Ruth's Delly is one of those comfort kind of places, with its real retro look, celebrity photos filing the walls and friendly staff. Kids, families, workers, tourists and locals all seem genuinely happy to be there. And why not? The menu's extensive and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. What's not to love about this place?

    I've never seen so many options for a reuben sandwich. Ever. The one I finally picked was very good. And the milkshakes? Yum-my!

    Small busy little deli with tiny booths and tables. Very popular local eatery can be quite crowded at times. Simple basic comfort food at reasonable prices. Stop on in and have a look for yourself. Just a short walk up main street from the head of City Dock.
