Favorite thing: The television series Homicide: Life on the Streets became an international success in the late 1990's. The location used for the scenes at the police station house is located in Fell's Point. If your a fan of the series you can your photo taken outside the station house and also see the plaque commorating the filming of the series. The station house is located directly on the water front and is easy to locate.

Favorite thing: Baltimore's Inner Harbor is known world wide and its model has been used to revitalize inner city harbors all over the world. Most tourist coming to Baltimore want to see the Inner Harbor before they see anything else. Thats fine with us here in Baltimore, as long as you promise to check out some other more interesting areas that are also very tourist friendly. After a day with the kids at the Inner Harbor, treat yourself to an evening at a more adult friendly area in Fell's Point. Historically Fell's Point is one of the oldest parts of Baltimore dating back to the 1730's. Its historical old store fronts and cobble stone streets now are the homes of many shops and over 120 pubs. An afternoon or an evening pub crawl in Fell's Point is great fun and not overly expensive. Walk along the water front. Visit the shops. Check out the local micro brews and large assortment of imported beers that are available at the pubs. You will find street names like Thames Street and Shakesphere Street giving the area a bit of European feel.

Favorite thing: Founded in 1730 by shipbuilder William Fell, this historic maritime community still maintains its old world charm with 18th and 19th century homes, taverns and shops. The oldest is the Robert Long House, circa 1765, on Ann Street near the Visitors Center. An abundance of antique shops, great restaurants, shopping and night life, can be found in FELL'S POINT.

Fondest memory: By the late 1800's, Fell's Point had become a major arrival point for thousands of immigrants from Ireland, Germany, Italy and Eastern Europe. Immigrants settled in ethnic neighbourhoods, most of which are still in placd today.

Favorite thing: Fells Point is kind of Baltimore's answer to Fisherman's Wharf. Its lined with bars and cute shops, different restaurants, street musicians and the like. Unlike Inner Harbor, it really doesn't have that much in the way of actual tourist attractiuons, but it is a place you can have a good time.

Fondest memory: Good food good drinks, good fun

Favorite thing: Fells Point is one of the most lively neighborhoods in Baltimore. Located near the inner harbor, it was a seedy waterfront area that has been revived by an influx of funky artists, yuppies, and tourists. Its many bars, restaurants, and pubs come alive on weekend nights. Try the Full Moon Saloon or Cats Eye Pub for good local bands (mostly blues or rock); Bertha's for seafood; the Blue Moon Cafe, Jimmy's or Theresa's Deli for breakfast; Soundgarden for CDs; and the Wharf Rat for a wide variety of beers.

Fondest memory: The Fells Point festival every fall is one of the largest outdoor festivals on the east coast. The streets are full of music, fragrant food booths, arts and crafts venders, and a surging good-natured crowd.

Favorite thing: Fell's Point is a real charmer. Its not a annoying tourist trap like Balitmore Harbor. It's got more of a New England like feel to it. Old Brick Townhouses centered by a plaza that in the summer bristles with a flea market.

Fondest memory: As a kid I remember being in a paddle boat with my cousin and just going at our own pace when along comes a huge ocean liner. Or that is what it seemed to be. It sounded it horn for us to get out of the way. We did but I must say it was one of the most exilarating experience of my life.
