Just north of Baltimore, are some restaurant choices in Towson. I had walked past Purim Oak many times before ever trying it...its downstairs from street level so hard to tell whats going on inside. As far a buffets go, this one is pretty spectacular since you can have chinese, korean appetizers and sushi. There is both a less expensive lunch buffet, during the week and a dinner buffet with more stuff on friday, saturday nights a sunday afernoon.
Favorite Dish:
You usually get around 9 korean appetizers including nice kim chee when you order any main dish...so you can probably skip ordering any more appetizers. On a cold day, i like to order the spicy monkfish stew or spicy codfish stew....but it's hot. You can also order a mild verson too. They have several vegetarian korean dishes, which is pretty rare to find.
I personally think that this place is a bit over rated...... I was brought here for a very special dinner once.
The person that brought me here made it special, not the restaurant.
Favorite Dish: I think the Tempura is the best thing about this place, it's just not as greasy as in other Japanese restaurants....
