Baltimore Orioles Game at Camden yards
Camden Yards was the first of the new generation of major league ballparks to be built at the end of the last century. A great combination of a classic setting with modern amenities. It's a blast!
This is a great place for any fan of baseball. The park is a classic park, but yet as all the modern conviences. Unfortunately, I was not there when a game was being played. But it was good just to walk around.
My only experience of Baltimore was a visit to PSINET stadium to see the Ravens play the Browns.
Like all other NFL games I have been to the atmosphere in and outside the stadium is brilliant, we have so much to learn in the UK. Friendly banter with home and away fans passed the time until kickoff (beer and food is expensive in the stadium, but good quality, never mind).
The game itself was dissapointing, as the Browns were having a poor season most people were amazed when they scored a TD on their first possession, but, this was not to last the Ravens went on to win easily, 44-7 I think. Even so enjoyed very much and was pleased to see Baltimore win superbowl in Tampa last January.
Go see an Orioles game at Camden Yards! But now that Cal Ripken has retired, it just won't be the same for me. sniff sniff. Bye Cal, we'll miss you dearly.
Really just walked past this when going to the Babe Ruth House---took a photo from the street view.....

Go to an Orioles game at Camden Yards.
One of the great ballparks in the US. It's a great combination of a state-of-the-art ballpark in a classic baseball setting.
