This is a store called "Play With Pottery". Apparently one can go here and make your own ceramics. I took the photo while I was waiting for Bob to get finished looking around the hardware store. The building is the old Eastern Shore Bank building, and what is there now may be a real estate office as of 2/26/2007

Custom Cats Meow for Crisfield is one of the sections of this place which is apparently several different shops in the same building kind of like a mini-strip mall. I went into one of them and didn't see anything appealing. Nor did I see anything in the windows of the other shops
What to buy: In addition to the Cat's Meow, the other places here are Cherished Teddies, Shelias, Yankee Candles, Beanies & handcrafted items.
Most of the souveniers for sale have crabs on them or are gingham / country type things.

One of three hardware stores on the north side of the street. I haven't been to this one.
In the photo, the Tawes Hardware store is over the top of the red pickup truck and to the right of the Captain's Gallery sign. Sterling Hardware is the two story building in the center.

This store was the 2nd post office for Crisfield. The building is interesting for that. It has a tin ceiling, but the floor felt spongy underfoot as if the underpinnings were rotten.
What to pay: Anytime you have a store that says it is 'marine' store, the prices are probably half again as high as for the same thing at a regular store.

I took the picture because of the bench in front of the window. I didn't try to buy any seafood because we would have had no way to use it up and no real way to keep it fresh on the boat.

This was the hardware store that Bob got a flashlight and nut drivers at. He didn't buy anything at the others.
