In the summer (May to September) you can get a water taxi from the Baltimore Harbor area to Ft. Mc Henry. This is a really fun and interesting way to see the Fort almost as it would have been seen by Francis Scott Key. The Fort McHenry water taxi departs from Fells Point Landing 11 during the Fort McHenry open hours. You must board the Fort McHenry route at Landing 11 no later than 3:00PM in order to give you time at the Fort. The LAST boat leaves the Fort at 5:00PM, daily.
You may not park at Fort McHenry and board a Water Taxi.
Pay on board the boat and receive a hand stamp good for all day. Tickets are cash only. Adult tickets receive a "letter of marque" (a.k.a a brochure of about two dozen coupons).
An all-day pass is:
* $9 for adults
* $4 for kids 10 and under
