Romantic walks on the beach: Walks on the beach

by tpangelinan

Take a romantic walk on the beach with your betterhalf! The sand between your toes and your partners hand in yours as the waves crash on the beach, that my idea of the perfect night! Walks on the beach are quite peaceful and easy going.

The Bordwalk rides: Rides at night

by tpangelinan

The boardwalk in Ocean City is a great place to hang out and watch people or go on some rides. Whole lots to do on the boardwalk at night, serveral bars for the adults and huge game rooms for the kids, the Bordwalk amusement park with rides for kids and adults. Beleive that you will never run out of things to do in Ocean City at night. Off the boardwalk on the main drag are even more things for the whole family to do, nightclubs shopping, mini golf, go cart racing, name it you can do it.

Calypso Bay Restaurant & Dock Bar: RhondaRuth's "Tikki Hut Tour 2003"

by RhondaRuth

Anywhere along the Chesepeake Bay you'll find Dockside or Tikki Hut Bars. We did a "Tikki Hut Tour 2003" one afternoon and went from one club to another. That, of course, called for me to have a few O'Doules between the real beers, but the "fun" was still there seeing and enjoying each club along the way. It even turned into a "rain soaked" afternoon, but that didn't stop up. We still had fun!! Casual dress at the outdoor bars!

When in Baltimore, go where the locals go for nightlife - Fells Point. This waterfront community near the inner harbor area downtown is an old-fashioned neighborhood with great ethnic restaurants and warm friendly pubs.My son and daughter-in-law took me to a great seafood restaurant called Crabby Dicks in Fells Point - what a Mother's Day surprise - the food was great! Casual!!

Ocean City is the largest beach in Maryland, and one of the largest on the mid-atlantic. If you like to have a good time and stay on an all-american 'redneck beach'- then it's perfect for you. Also perfect for- teenagers who want to spend a few weeks away from parents.Try Thrasher's Boardwalk fries. Anything you want!!

FEDERAL HILL: FEDERAL HILL

by donovanel

Just south of the Inner Harbor is Federal Hill. A touch funkier than Mount Vernon, its also host to a wide range of places to eat and drink. Check out MOTHERS and definitely hit the seafood market for some good grub and cheap beer! CASUAL--my first trip I wore a black dress and felt way over dressed. But not to the point where the room stops and everyone stares! This place is a come as you are.

CANTON: CANTON

by donovanel

To the northeast of Fells Point is Canton, one of Baltimores recently refurbished neighborhoods. Formerly an industrial area, its now home to Atlantic, one of the citys most exciting new restaurants, and a number of upscale cocktail bars, such as The Gin Mill and The Cosmopolitan Bar & Grill. There are also several cozy, friendly neighborhood eateries, like Nacho Mamas and Needful Things. Canton visitors tend to dress up a little more--a lot of people come straight from work, so it is a lot more professional crowd.

FELLS PT.: FELLS PT.

by donovanel

In a city that prides itself on its eclectic nature, this old, freewheeling maritime district still manages to stand out as a particularly well-mixed bag. On weekends its swarmed with college students and young professionals looking for fun in the areas many nightclubs. Theres nothing upscale about this classic Fells Point institution. It's dark, the furnishings are a little battered and if the walls could talk, the first thing they'd ask for is a new coat of paint. But after that, they would regale you with tales of thousands of nights' worth of quiet good times and great music. My first trip to Fells Point was during a pub crawl--great way to check out ALL the bars! We started at noon and ended up leaving by 8pm after a friend puked on the floor! Needless to say it was a great time! The thing I noticed about Fells Point is that a lot of people dress down for the bars--jeans, kahki...

BOHAGERS: BOHAGERS

by donovanel

About half the clubs and bars in the Fells Point area feature roots music and cater to an older, bohemian crowd. The other half play booming dance music and attract a college-age crowd of genuine party animals. Bohagers is decidedly one of the latter. What sets it apart, and what makes it worth a visit even if you don't exactly fit its target demographic, is that its an entirely outdoor club. On a hot summer night, the party atmosphere can be quite contagious. The shooters are cheap, and the crabs are spicy This place is a little more clubby, so the crowd tends to dress up a little more. Just realize that you will be outside, so dress accordingly!!
