Marylands highest waterfall, Muddy Creek Falls, is located in nearby Swallow Falls State Park. The falls are close enough to the parking lot that we were able to take a person on a wheelchair to see the falls. You can actually go to the top of the falls as well as stand under the spray on the bottom. 2 other falls are also located within the park.
Downtown still has a real drug store! Not a Rite-Aid etc. and the antique center has an old fashioned lunch counter. We didn't eat there cause it was packed. The food looked good and the prices were good.
Fondest memory: They have restored the old B&O Railroad station into a museum.
