Favorite thing: Everyday at the beach, a kite store called
The Kite Loft, puts out an impressive display of flags and kites! They usually have a theme, and some expert flyers out there doing tricks for you! It is very festive, and always bright and colorful for a great camera shot!
Fondest memory: We almost always go and check out the flags and kites on display in front of the Kite Loft!

Favorite thing: You can't be at the shore, and not notice the Sea Rocket and the OC Rocket going up and back. This is an excellent time for Grandmom to Grandchild. You WILL get a little wet, they make sure of that!
Dolphin activity with the boat happened both times I took this trip!
Fondest memory: Sea Rocket is a good time, and the fastest trip up to 94th street you will ever take!

Favorite thing: Over the last several decades, Ocean City, Maryland has grown from a small seaside fishing village to become one of the most popular beach vacation destinations in the United States. Ocean City's population is around 10,000 people, but summertime it's over a third of a million with the visitors. Thanks to this fact Ocean City is the second largest city in Maryland. In 2001 Ocean City has got a title "All American City”.
Miles of clean white-sand beach on the Atlantic Ocean, three-mile long (4,8 km) boardwalk, hundreds of places to stay (hotels, motels, condos and campgrounds), restaurants, nightlife, shopping, boating, golf, fishing, festivals, conventions, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, museums, amusement parks and other unique activities.

Favorite thing: the Boardwalk is so cool and long, it takes forever to walk it and there is so much to see. great place.
Windy and full of games and fun activities for the family. great restaurants and fashionable people all over the place. expensive automobiles and swimwear too...
water is just as cold as the Pacific coast, highway 50 travels the whole 3,000 + miles from coast to coast. great corn vendors along the way, and steak and eggs for breakfast, It was my b-day and all I needed was the candle.
Fondest memory: Roehoboth Beach, Delaware. about thirty minutes north, great fish tacos at the british pub "fish and chips" about $9 a plate plus $6 a beer but delicious.
Comfort Inn, cheapest accommodation $152 per night, nice little pool, but the check in is until 4 p.m. so you have to fins something to do. no problem... about three thousand factory outlets and no sales tax! but it is not cheap, folks, outlets out of your pockets but what the hell, we only live once right?

Favorite thing: I must admit, i wasn't sure where to list this tip. I didn't feel the Wine Fest was a tourist trap since it was full of people that appeared to be from the area. I would definitely not recommend making a special t plans to attend this festival. The few wineries there were were all local (VA, DC, etc) and most did not offer, to me at least, good quality wines. There were two NY State wineries that were pretty good, but that's about it. The number of wineries and booths alone were not sufficient to even call it a festival. I think there were only about 5 or 6 of them.
Fondest memory: Sitting on a blanket outside the festival in the sand watching silly people who drank too much wine.

Favorite thing: See the beach!
Also when driving down the Coastal Highway take Route 50 over the bay. Look for the sign to California.
Fondest memory: When I was a kid my grandfather would always take us to breakfast at The Dough Roller. You can get pancakes any time of the day.

Fondest memory: Walking along the jetty with my dad and brother. It was nice to be with dad and uncle for a couple of days. Watching them fishing was great too.
That is me with my dad and brother on the right, mom took the picture.

Fondest memory: Getting on our boats and having some fun.
This was an awesome day.
The kind of day that you hold its memory long after the day is done.
My boat is the one on the left, another friend was taking pictures from his boat, sorry they aren't so clear, but we had fun.
Please remember all the rules of safety when your in the water and/or on a boat.

Favorite thing: Walk along the boardwalk. Keep going. Keep going. Finally you'll reach the sand sculptures. I've been to Ocean City twice, and there have been some there both times. It's incredible what that man can do with sand. In 1998, it was at the 2nd street Boardwalk, and they were sculpted by Randy Hofman.
Fondest memory: Just lying on the beach with my eyes closed listening to the sound of the waves. I also love to boogie board when I'm there.
