The History of the Boardwalk by tpangelinan Since 1910, going to the boardwalk, swimming, eating, shopping, fishing, crabbing, smelling the salt air, hearing the gulls cry, riding a bike by the shore, that, my friends is entertainment. We never said to our parents, "I wanna go home" at the boardwalk! It is a place you never want to leave!! It keeps you comming back. You could go anywhere in the country, and yet, you find yourself back here, time after time year after year. And when you get into town, the nostalgia of the 'good times', no, 'the BEST times' of your life, and family fun times come flooding back! People shine and their hearts sing at the shore! Lobster larger than life! by tpangelinan I don't care how you do it, but get some seafood while in town! We have eaten all over the eat coast, and Ocean City MD, is home of some of the best seafood you can get on the east coast! Work up an appetite on the beach, go fly a kite! Look how big this lobster kite is! Why do I have an affection for giant lobster in any form???? Kite is a display by Kite Loft. Go check out the store, it is fun and more that kites, they carry great toys for (boo hoo) rainy days with the kiddies!! Leave a Comment

Bikes at the beach by tpangelinan The locals know that the best way to get around is via bike. Ocean breezes, smells of the board walk and local wild life (the people) are best felt up close and personal. To feel the town, ride a bike all over. Down side to renting a bike is the large cash deposit. For the two of us, we had to leave $200.00 cash with the man. That's a big hunk of money, if you are on a tight budget. Try to take your own bike from home. The rental itself was only $40.00 (20.00 each for 24 hours). Leave a Comment Phone: 410-289-2587Website: Bike World Other Contact: 6 Caroline St. Ocean City, MD
