by msazadi I have lived in the Annapolis area for 15 years, and had never been to this restaurant. A friend took us for dinner there, raving about the crabcakes. Now, both of us took that with a grain of salt, but he was right. They truly were the best we have ever had, and at a reasonable price. The single crabcake dinner was $11.95 I believe, and the two crabcake dinner $16.95. These cakes are almost totally lump crab. The atmosphere is homey and simple...and full of regular customers. Nuff said.

Located in Little Italy in near the inner harbor. This restruant has the best food in Little Italy. But honestly you can't get a bad meal anywhere in Little Italy. The dress is casual dressy, reservation are required, this place is always busy no matter what day of the week. Entree's range about $15-40, and everything is a la crate. If you enjoy good Italian food this place is a must.

One of Baltimores culinary treasures. At last count, this 12-block expanse was home to over 20 fine Italian restaurants. Its really not fair to name just a few, but Sabatinos, Aldos and Della Notte all provide fine examples of what the area offers. The best way to choose from Little Italys bounty may be to simply stroll around the neighborhood in the afternoon, walk into an establishment that strikes your fancy and make a reservation for the evening. Be warned, though--weekends there can get very busy.
Ah anything Italian!! Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Just to the east of the Inner Harbor lies Little Italy.

by donovanel Phillips, St. Michael's, Fisherman's Wharf--just to name a few! It doesn't matter where you have these crabs, things are bound to get messy, so the tables are always covered in butcher paper and make sure you get yourself some hand wipes!
Try the crabs!! This is a great social food b/c it goes so well with beer! You get mallets and get to beat the living tar out of your food!--actually the crabs are already dead, but you still get to pummel their shells to get the meat--loads of fun though some people complain that there is too much work involved. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: There are places serving crabs all over Maryland...check out some of my favorites forementioned.

by donovanel This is a great little par/restaurant in Towson that is the stomping grounds of local college students as well as the young professionals for happy hour. It is a great place to meet up with people, enjoy some food and tasty beverages, play a little pool and watch whatever sports event is on that nite.
Quesadillas, spinach dip, any of the wraps, spicy wings--basically everything that goes well with beer! Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Shoot, it is on York Road right by Towson University.

Any place with crab... but if you happen to find yourself trapsing past That's Amore, then why not go in? Diner is usually family-style Italian food. Which means that you order a few dishes and share with everyone. The portions are slightly over-whelming if you have less then four people, so bring an army.
Actually, I'm not sure if they have crab, but their food is great any way. The meatballs are a must-have and I'd recommend the stuffed mushrooms also. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: That's Amore is located at 15201 Shady Grove Road, Rockville... the phone number is (301)670-9666. El Salto Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn Park. Perhaps Baltimore's best kept secret. The food is unpretecious, inexpensive and the service is consistently expedient. Dinner for two without alcoholic beverages will run you about $20 including tip. Feels like a down home Mexican Joint
Tacos Pollo Asado. Spice with special sauce. Or the Jalisco Especial. Theme: OtherDirections: Of Ritchie Highway between 695 and the Brooklyn Park/Route 2 split.
