 Buses on York Road by grandmaR
Now they've taken the tracks up and replaced the trolleys with buses. They've also removed the firehouse that used to be at the junction of York and Delaney Valley Road and made a round-about there.
There are some pictures of the old trolleys on the website below.
The number 8 still runs but instead of just going to the Towson Courthouse, it goes all the way out to Hunt Valley.

# Day Passes, which entitle you to unlimited rides on Baltimore Buses, Light Rail, or Metro Subway are $3.50
# Weekly Passes for Baltimore Buses, Light Rail, or Metro Subway are $16.50
# Monthly Passes (Regular) for Baltimore Buses, Light Rail, or Metro Subway are $64.00

The first one build was the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel and its eighteen-mile thruway opened to traffic on November 30, 1957. Designated I- 895, the Tunnel provides a major north-south bypass of Baltimore City.
The newest one is the Fort McHenry Tunnel, which is the world's only eight-lane underwater tunnel for vehicular traffic. It is located just south of Fort McHenry between Locust Point and Canton, crossing Baltimore's harbor under the Patapsco River. As part of I-95, the Tunnel links the southern and eastern areas of Baltimore City. The Tunnel opened to traffic on November 24, 1985.
The Francis Scott Key Bridge opened to traffic in March 1977 and connects Sollers Point in Baltimore County with Hawkins Point in Baltimore City. It also is the final link in the 52-mile Baltimore Beltway (I-695).
Electronic toll-collection (known as M-TAG) began for all three in 1999. In January 2003, M-TAG became part of the E-Z Pass system. Otherwise the toll for a car is $2.00 The E-Z Pass is also good for the Preston Lane Bridge (Chesapeake Bay Bridge) the Harry Nice Bridge (Potomac River Bridge) and the Thomas Hattem Bridge.
