Written on the chalkboard "Doubt that the stars are fire, Doubt that the sun moves, Doubt truth be a liar, but never doubt I love - me thinketh he talks about beer" Nice bar - although they stamp our hand on entry - I don't know why as you don't pay entry?

We had blueberry Ale - the blueberries rise and fall in your beer in a lava lamp - and the taste aint bad either.

Dress Code: None i don't think

Boston Beerworks is located right across the street from Fenway park, and although the beer brewed there is outstanding (with a few exceptions), the prices reflect the location. Pitchers are a whopping $14 each, so you really have to love the beer to drink much there. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment about it. Our beer was terrific except for the Blueberry beer, which was utterly disgusting.

Dress Code: Very casual.

Boston Beer Works has always been one of my favorite spots in the Boston area. With locations at Fenway Park, the Fleet Center, and Salem, they are always close to the action in town. The original location at Fenway opened in 1992 and has been making Bostonians happy ever since. With about 40 different brews rotating on the tap, you can always try something new, or stick with old favorites such as their award winning Allston Mild, Back Bay IPA, Bay State ESB, Centennial Alt, Muddy River Porter, Red October, and others. The girls in the group always seem to like their fruity "Bluebeery" Ale -- which has a handful of floating blueberries -- or the "raspbeery" ale.

Beer Works offers a huge variety of food that all seems to be pretty good (after a few beers, anything tastes good!). From burgers, sandwiches and pizzas to pasta, steak and ribs there is something for everyone. Their only limiting factor is seafood... they have just a few appetizers such as clam chowder, fried calamari, and their unique skewered shark.

I have been fortunate enough to visit all three locations and have never been disappointed. The Salem Beer Works is tailored to its home with beer and food name reflecting the local history such as the witch trials and ghosts and goblins. The Fleet Center location on Canal Street has always been my favorite as it is within easy walking distance of Faneuil Hall and the the dozens of other area bars. The Fenway location is obviously a great pre- or post-game spot, but there is a good amount of nightlife clustered in this area as well.

Boston Beer Works is a great place to grab a beer either before or after a Red Sox Game. There are at least three of these restaurants. The one we tried was next to Fenway. Boston Beer Works has a large variety of beers that they brew themselves. There are a couple of bars throughout the establishment where you can get a great beer.

In addition to a large beer selection, they also have a large area for dining as well. I cannot vouch for the dining though, only the beer. The menu looks appetizing though and has more than just "Pub Food" on it. If I'm at the Beer Works again I'll definately try the food.
