    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Named after an Avante Garde artist. This nightclub is not for the faint of heart. Go wearing leather, pvc or a goth costume. The music is awesome to dance to, and the people watching is the best in the city.

Dress Code: No jeans, no flannel shirts, - Their website says 'wear black if in doubt" - I know the pink hair is a bit frightening..

    Manray Nightclub: Amazing tunes!

by Natalllya Written Oct 25, 2004

    Manray has amazing music!

Although I can't remember which night we went on, it was a gay night at the club. They played amazing tunes, both rooms had people dancing at all times. The music was just amazing!

The bartenders were nice and the drink prices were pretty reasonable.

Dress Code: Whatever floats your boat.

    Manray Nightclub: Clubbing

by CricketSanj Written Oct 21, 2003

If you like trance and goth/industrial music, then I think this is the place to go to on Friday nights in the Boston area (well, ok, this is in Cambridge but...). :) I know other clubs play trance and stuff but they mix it up a bit too much with hip-hop and what not and that is not what I like. Manray plays non-stop trance in the front room and goth/industrial in the back room. Friday nite is fetish nite so they have shows on the stage in the back room as well. Check website for more details.

Dress Code: Friday nights: Very strict dress code since it is fetish night. At the minimum, wear ALL black (no faded black jeans or shirts, etc.). Check the website for more details on dress code.
