Moody Street in Waltham: Just for locals or people who have a car!

Moody street in Waltham at night!

This is a popular spot among the locals, but is located very far away from downtown, so it might not be a good option for tourists staying around the main central areas of Boston and not having a car (as public transportation isn't very good in this area and especially not at late night).

I was taken here by my friends & hosts, it was a good 20 minute drive as it's in an area called Waltham (west of downtown Boston), and the action is focused on this very street called Moody, which is packed with bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors, etc... You have a lot to choose from and it does get lively on weekend nights. However, as everywhere in Boston, these places close early (by 11 PM or midnight) so you better get there early as well!
