Favorite Dish: Cram Chowder and Lobster
Legal Sea Foods: Easy to enjoy Legal Seafoods
I only ate here twice - and I gambled twice.
First time round I tried 'Spicy Shandong Bluefish' - absolutely gorgeous!
Second time round I tried the Catfish - again: amazing!
I had never tried these dishes before and they were gentle on the palate and a real treat - there is also a general platter and an old fashioned 'Cod & Fries' option in case your dad is with you!
Great food - great prices - enjoy!
Legal Sea Foods: Lobster dinner
The restaurant was reccommend to us by a shopkeeper.
Abience was nice but not overly fancy. We shared a bowl of clam chowder (Fabulous!!!), lobster tail, and mussles and clams, and corn on the cob. Cost about $35US. Also had martini for $9!!! Wanted to try some seafood, and most was good, but the mussels and clams I could do without. The meal was definetly enough to share! But next time would order my own chowder, 'cause it was amazing! Waitress was alright but I got the impression our service was lacking becuase we were sharing a plate, and so the bill would be less.
Favorite Dish: The chowder, hands down! I have never had clam chowder before, but this was thick but not too rich, with nice chunks and no fishy flavor at all. Very nice.
Legal Sea Foods: Ultra Fresh Seafood at Legals
Legal Seafood is a New England Chain that offers a wide variety of seafood of outstanding quality. In addition to the food, they also have a good beer and wine selection as well.
We ate at the Legal Seafood by the Aquarium and it is almost always crowded. Expect a wait to be seated or hang out at the bar. It's worth the wait!
Favorite Dish: The Clam Chowder is one of their specalties and they claim to have served it at the last six Presidential Inaugurations.
I also had the Lobster Ravioli. It was good but not as good as the Lobster Ravioli that they make at Strega in Boston (see elsewhere).
Check out their fresh catch as well!
Legal Sea Foods: Great Experience at this Seafood Restaurant
This New England chain has since migrated from Boston to New York. I already know of at least three in the 50 mile radius of my home.
We just loved this place when we visited a few years ago (Boston). The decor was nautical in nature and the dining area was huge. Lots of families and very kid friendly.
The dishes were delicious! Clam chowder, lobster (bigger than I ever seen), clams, mussels, scallops, salmon, tuna and swordfish.
Definately have a seafood dish.. Highly recommended no matter what location. The experience will be pretty equal.
Legal Sea Foods: Legal Sea Foods
I haven't tried many seafood restaurants in Boston and I am sure there are better (at least that is what I have heard), but Legal Sea Foods is my favorite place for seafood in Boston. I have always had a great meal and a great time here and make it a point to eat here every time I go to Boston.
There are many locations, but I have always eaten at the Long Wharf location by the Aquarium. Legal Sea Foods has recently opened restaurants all over the east coast, but started in Boston.
The service is very good, and the menu has a nice selection. On some busy nights, prepare to wait 30 minutes to more than an hour for a table. Dress is casual.
Legal Sea Foods is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Favorite Dish: The New England clam chowder is some of the best I have ever had. The raw oysters and steamed mussels are very good.
Definitely try the lobster or any of the fish (swordfish, tuna, scrod).
If you want a good sampler of the menu, try either the lobster bake (lobster, steamers, mussels, corn, clam chowder, and a side) or the fisherman's platter (fried shrimp, scallops, calamari, clams, and haddock).
Legal Sea Foods: Seafood pure
Visiting Boston and not eating at Legal Seafood ? No.
I was there twice (1996 and 1999) and it was very good and fresh both times. So I suppose it still is now.
What struck me as funny the first time was, that it was quite full and they gave you a pager, so they can call you when a table gets free. With that Pager you donýt have to sit around, but can go shopping at the Prudential Centre..
(but take care, my friend almost got a heart attack when the pager vibrated). :-)
Favorite Dish: Seafood all over
and Salad with blue cheese.

Legal Sea Foods: Lobster By the Half Pound
My wife was in seventh heaven here! Being able to buy her favourite seafood by the half pound just made her day (much better than Dirty Harry LOL!).
Funny thing is that we wouldn't have even gone to this great place if a really friendly waiter at the boston hard Rock Cafe hadn't told us about it. Great guy he was & we were really thankful he did give us the tip. And of course we tipped him quite generously in response
Favorite Dish: Well no prizes for guessing what she had. Yes, yet again you are correct folks! the Lobster indeed. And....., she was a good girl indeed, no mornay just lovely fresh lobster, but only ababy half pound one. boy did she enjoy that!
But I start before the start!
We both started the New England clam Chowder. What else could we remotely entertain the idea of starting with when we'd been out on the sub zero Boston streets. And boy did it hit the spot. Yummo barely begins to describe it.
But what did he have you ask. Well, if you've visited my Paris page & seen the restaurant tips you will definitely get no prizes for guessing. Of course it was, Salmon - Atlantic Salmon. How can all those healthy Omega oils be just do delicious. Don't know, don't care! They are & that's all that matters!
Can't remember what we paid, so I'm guessing below. Remember though that we both thought that it was very reasonable.

Legal Seafood: Barely Legal
Skip Legal Seafood. Extreme amount of money for the inverse quality of the experience. I would say skip it and check out some of the more interesting places with character.
Once upon a time, Legal Seafood was a great underdog in the industry. Cutting out the middle man and handling things themselves, Legal WAS a "cut above the rest". But success was too good to Legal.
But do remember, if you don't go, you'll never get a chance to experience Legal Seafood again (unless you're in Virginia, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Mass, Maryland, Florida, or the District of Columbia)
Favorite Dish: Water, because I wasn't paying for it.
Legal Sea Foods: Delicous Boston Clam Chowder
Legal Sea Foods have five restaurants in Boston. Two of them are located at the Airport, so you can guarantee yourself a delicious meal before travelling home!
I met a guy on the airplane who was taking home a huge take-away container full of the chowder - a true fan! You can also buy the chowder on their website and have it mailed to yourself or a friend, saving yourself the hassle of carrying it on the plane! (I would be sure to spill!)
The food is delicious, and the ambience quiet and relaxing.
Favorite Dish: The Boston Clam Chowder is perfect - if it is not "Award Winning" it should be!!
Basically anything is delicious, my favorite (after the chowder!) is the Seared Ahi - yum!
LEGAL SEAFOODS: GREAT SEAFOOD!
Legal Seafoods has been around for more than 50 years. They have built an excellent reputation with fresh fish & other kinds of seafood. Their clam chowder is delicious & their raw oysters are amazing! The lobster here is a bit expensive but the taste is good. Everything I`ve ever ordered on their menu has been delicious. I`ve never walked away disappointed.
There is a location at The Prudential on Boylston St. Always a line for lunch (best time to go) so be prepared!
Favorite Dish: Try the baked stuffed schrod w/ mashed potatoes. A basket of mussels. Clam chowder. Soft shell crab sandwich in the summertime.
Legal Sea Foods - This...
Legal Sea Foods - This half-century old restaurant chain is one of my personal favorites. It's sooo good that it was named in 1979 as 'Best Seafood Restaurant' by Boston Globe reader's poll; it's sooo good that their chowder was served in 1981 at the Presidential Inauguration; it's sooo good that a mobile 'Chowda Van' traveled to Superbowl XXXI to serve thousands of fans. What's best of all is that they've expanded to Long Island, New York, Washington DC, Maryland, New Jersey, Florida. There's even one at the Boston Longan Airport.
Favorite Dish: New England Chowder, of course!
Our favorite restaurant in...
Our favorite restaurant in Boston is Legal Seafoods, located at the Prudential Center.
As their motto says, 'if it isn't fresh, it isn't Legal', the fish is fresh and tasty.
Favorite Dish: Clam Chowder, by far the best ever.
Legal Seafood: Legal Seafood
Good price for the amount of food receive. Quick and friendly service personnel. Daily specials. The seafood come directly from their own fish farms; therefore, it is FRESH.
Favorite Dish: Mixed seafood special. Excellent and not expense.
Make a reservation if planning to eat later than 18:30 hours
because sometimes the waiting can be more than 30 minutes. Large groups seem to get a table quicker than a couple.
Legal Test Kitchen: Inisde Logan airport
a new concept of Legal Sea Foods wherein you have a smaller resto and less selection of foods but with a different twist.
Favorite Dish: the lobster sandwhich
