    McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant

I know it's a chain but it is a high quality one. The seafood choices are excellent. A large raw menu. Our son tends bar at the one at 34 Columbus Ave but we ate at the Faneuil Hall location since it was closer to our hotel.

Favorite Dish: The menu changes daily.

Anything on the raw menu. The steamed mussels are fantastic.

    Peach Farm Restaurant

This is real Chinese. We were the non-Asians in the place. No flatware, just chopsticks!
One of the smaller live-tank seafood restaurants in Chinatown, Peach Farm takes advantage by getting everything to the table really fast. Steamed fish and fried anything really benefit, but don't miss the braised chicken hot pot, perhaps the tastiest chicken dish in Boston.

    by betty2sean Updated Aug 24, 2002

The Museum of Science has a wonderful restaurant on the top floor. I don't remember the name. But there was a good view from here.

There is also a fast-food restaurant for those addicted to burgers & fries.........
The Museum is open late Friday nights and the place is popular with couples. Especially in Autumn & Winter when it gets dark early & the lights along the Charles River are very soothing.

Favorite Dish: I tend to be frugal so, we had bowls of chicken rice soup & a half sandwich apiece.

Cheers is not only a pub (downstairs) but also a restaurant on the first floor with a lovely interior. They serve traditional pub food such as New England clam chowder, burgers, fish and chips ...

It's a Tapas place. It's not the most authentic Spanish place in the Boston area and the drinks are overpriced. But it's conveniently located on Newbury street and the bar's fun.
