Pho Lemongrass is my new find in Brookline. A new establishment that established itself when I was traveling in South East Asia. I was glad to find it around the corner when I came back as my taste buds were spoiled in the trip.
The place is a great modern, urban, Vietnamese restaurant with a relaxing design. It spreads over a large two storefront spaces with a beautiful Mekong river scene mural.
Favorite Dish:
I love to go there for lunch my favorite dish then is
Mekong Chicken
Another dish I like is the
Pho chicken or Pho Beef
Pho, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup served with bean sprouts, basil, mint, chili peppers and a few lime wedges. It makes a great one-bowl lunch In the winter (oh, make that anytime).
The place have 15 (yes One Five) different Phos on the menu!
The food and huge menu are super!!
Favorite Dish:
Cari Ga (Lemongrass Curry Chicken Soup) Pho (15 different kinds), Tom Rang Man (Saigon Shrimp—spicy garlic sauce), Cua Lot (fresh soft-shell crab), Dau Hu Xao Sa Ot (Lemongrass Tofu—with Asian basil, celery, onion and pepper in lemongrass sauce, topped with roasted peanuts). I could go on and on—the menu is HUGE. I get so hungry just reading it, and want to try everything.
