    To travel back to Revolutionary Boston - to understand the people, the events, and ideals of the 18th century - is a great leap for us today. But the sites along the Freedom Trail do speak eloquently of that time. Bostonians and other colonists shared a notion of liberty that was precious and worth fighting for. The Freedom Trail sites include scenes of critical events in Boston's and the nation's struggle for freedom. Most of the Boston National Historical Park sites are connected by the Freedom Trail. The 3-mile trail is a walking tour of 16 sites and structures of historic importance in downtown Boston and Charlestown. Ninety-minute tours begin at the Visitor Center at 15 State Street and cover the heart of the Freedom Trail from the Old South Meeting House to the Old North Church. The Freedom Trail is a must do for anyone visiting Boston for the first time.

    the freedom trail starts in the boston commons. if you want take time to people watch in this area. you are bound to see some strange one's. this trail can be taken with a guide wich cost 5 per person. we chose to walk it ourselfs. the walking tour was 5 hours long. we made it thorugh in about 2.5 there are many great sites. just follow the red line. there are a couple tricky places where the line seems to split, just do your best to stay on track IF YOU LIKE MY TIP, PLEASE GIVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK, THANKS
